They are both good machines it would be up to you to which one fits you best. Go for how the machine feels when you sit on it ease of use and lastly price. ....

There is quite a bit of difference between these two tractors. The Kubota's transmission? Other wise the Cadet is 28 horsepower and the Kubota is 21 horsepower. Tell us more! What are you going to do with the tractor. ....

I am assuming they are in the same price range? One plus for the Cub is the CAT engine. Then you have Kubota's known reliability. Even with the difference in horse power they are about the same size tractor. ....

I have 8 acres of land 2.5 of lawn the rest is field that I want to bush hog a few times a year. My house is about 150' off the road so I wanted a bucket for snow removal and for some landscape work in the summer. Since my house is a new build I need to grow some more money on the money tree, but hope to put up a small barn and have a couple of horses.

What did you mean about the transmission, and what are the differences of the two machines. The pricing I have is about the same for both.

Thanks ....

With the Kubota you have a tranny choice....the fst with is a gear stick coming out th floor were the tranny is & a shuttle shifter lever on the left column & you have to use the clutch for any shuttle or gear changing, the GST with has the same shuttle lever to the left of your steering wheel but with a speed selector lever by your left waist with hardly any clutch use needed & Hst which is a pedal on the floor of your right foot. Puch with your toe to go forward, press with your heel to go reverse. ....
